Art Den

About Us

Our Origins

Art Den was born out of a love for community, creativity, and giving back.

Our roots go back to the days of the GASR (Graphic Arts Services and Requests) community on IMVU.com. There, artists and enthusiasts came together to share their work, connect, and support each other.

However, when IMVU announced they were shutting down GASR with little notice, a few of us took action. We created a new home for the community.

How We Got Here

The original offsite GASR forum became a place where art and philanthropy went hand in hand. In those early years, we ran fundraisers and auctions, raising thousands of dollars for causes like Toys for Tots. It was always about more than just art — it was about making a difference.

As life moved on, I had to step back. Over time, the forum evolved into what became known as Art Haven. Unfortunately, it eventually faced financial struggles and lost the trust of its community, leading to its closure.

What We Stand For

Now, with more experience and a renewed commitment to our core values, we’re bringing that original spirit back. Therefore, Art Den isn’t just rebuilding forum that you can join — we’re reigniting a community built on creativity, transparency, and giving back.

Art Den operates as a nonprofit, making every decision with the community’s best interests in mind. We’ll stay open about where funds go, how decisions are made, and how you can get involved. Read all about Our Mission, and see what we’re about!

Join the Movement

We envision Art Den as more than just a platform — it’s a movement to empower artists and build real connections. For example, members will have opportunities to join creative challenges, participate in charity fundraisers, showcase their portfolios, and grow through community-driven workshops and mentorship.

Share your art. Connect with fellow creators. Support meaningful causes. Art Den is your space.
