About This Contest
Got some old art that you’ve created? Let’s see that improvement!
This contest is all about seeing your own personal growth, and encouraging others to see theirs as well! It’s incredible to see the change in your art, whether it’s from 6 months ago or 6 years.
Digital and traditional mediums are encouraged, as well as any subject matter (portraits, still life, landscapes, etc.) as long as any NSFW art is tagged/censored as such.
Rules & Guidelines for Entries
The premise is simple: dig out an old drawing/painting of yours and redraw it! However, we do want to establish some basic rules and guidelines so everyone has fun (and a fair chance at winning some cool prizes!)
- No AI-generated artwork. The old and new artworks must be human-made and not generated by AI or prompts.
- Indicate the rough dates of both drawings. They don’t have to be exact (month and year, or just year, is fine!), but we do want to see that timeframe.
- The “old artwork” must be at least six (6) months old.
- Make a social post: tag @artdenorg and use the hashtag #ArtDenDrawItAgain so we can easily share your artwork with our following.
- Some adjustments in pose, color, etc. are fine, but the new artwork must be recognizable as an improved version of the older artwork.
- The new piece must have been created in the past 30 days. This means between July 15, 2025 – September 30, 2025.
How to Enter
We want the barrier to entry as simple as possible, so there are just two steps:
- Create a social media post: tag @artdenorg, and use the hashtag #ArtDenDrawItAgain
- Submit the form below with a link to your post.
That’s it! The reason we have you submit the form as well is because some social media platforms are not great about notifying accounts when a hashtag or @ has been used, so we want to make sure we see every entry!
Fine Print & Additional Details
- Contest is open from August 15 at 12:01am EST and ends on October 1, 11:59pm EST.
- You must be at least 16 years or older to participate.
- This contest is held by Art Den Organization Inc., a 501c3 nonprofit based in Saint Petersburg. FL.
- Entry method consists of a form submission that can be found at artden.org/draw
- Artworks will be judged based on technique and skill improvements by a panel of 3 artists.
- Winners will be notified on October 8, 2025. Winners will have 24 hours from email notification to claim their prize by replying to an email from [email protected].
- Winners will be publically announced on social media platforms and our newsletter on October 10, 2025.
- Prizes:
- First place will receive a Clip Studio Paint EX Single-device 12-month License (a $76.99 value), and a $100 digital gift certificate to Blick Art Supplies.
- Second place will receive a Clip Studio Paint PRO Single-device 12-month License (a $26.99 value), and a $100 digital gift certificate to Blick Art Supplies.
- Third place will receive a Clip Studio Paint PRO Single-device 12-month License (a $26.99 value), and a $50 digital gift certificate to Blick Art Supplies.
